Thank you for your interest!
We are a private family-owned lesson and training facility located off of 441 S, across from Sandy Creek Park in Athens, Georgia.
Our mission is to provide a safe, fun learning environment for children and teens.
From beginners as young as five years old, to intermediate riders looking for an opportunity to show locally, we hope to foster the love of horseback riding with a focus on correct equitation, and ever-careful horsemanship in the saddle as well as on the ground.
We offer a special experience here at our farm- one that you may not find at many other riding facilities around!
Please send us a message if you would like to learn more!
We are committed to the safety and education of both horse and rider, and want to share our love of these beautiful animals with our friends and neighbors in a way that enriches their lives- as only horses can.

We offer several riding lesson options which include weekly horsemanship lessons. Class selection will be done by your instructor, and will be based on individual rider needs and ability.
Beginner Private
These classes are 30 minutes long, and focus primarily on riding/grooming/ground safety. Tacking/untacking is done by the instructor, as this is a task that is usually a bit over the young beginner's head and requires reach/strength that they may not yet possess. The lesson begins upon arrival, includes watching the pony being tacked, assisting in brushing, and then riding for the remaining time.
This class is best for the beginner, as an introduction to riding and very basic safety.
Beginner Semi-Private
This class is composed of 2 students who demonstrate the ability to listen to instruction, are capable of controlling their horse or pony at a walk and trot, have the basics of ground safety mastered, and show the initiative to help and/or complete the tacking process on their own. This class is 60 minutes long, which includes the time it takes to groom, tack, ride, and then untack at the end of the lesson.
Intermediate Group
This class is composed of 4 riders, and requires each student to have mastered saddling their own horse, as well as the ability to demonstrate an independent seat at a walk, trot, and learning to canter / start crossrail courses. Also 60 minutes long, and includes tacking/grooming time.
Unmounted Lessons
These lessons are the some of the most fun for our riders, as they provide an opportunity for camaraderie, teamwork, and relationship-building within our riding school. We use a curriculum that is level-based and ever changing, so your student will benefit from a comprehensive library of learning tools to enrich their knowledge of horses.
Little Wranglers
This weekly hour-long class is geared towards the little tykes ages 2-5 who are a bit too young or uncoordinated for full-length riding lessons, but who LOVE horses and would enjoy spending time at the barn with our 4-legged friends! This a parent-led class. Your little rider will have the opportunity to groom, ride, and learn safely in small groups of 4.
